Merry Christmas and Happy New Year My Christmas Tree

Like every year, are preparing to sum up for the old one that is about to end and think of resolutions for the new one is coming.
And then we sit down, maybe a little tired and bent, and we begin to turn the pages of our "book".

Pages beautiful at times. Written on tissue paper all decorated with frills on board and some little heart at the bottom of page. So clear and precious as the feeling we used to write it.

Pages ugly at times. Written on paper so rough that even our tears are served to soften.

Pages futile at times. Written with so much indifference, that we feel inclined to read them to tear.

Pages with folded corners at times. Corners left so intentionally, to remind us that we have to remember, knowing how to help us remember not to lose sight.

Pages scrawled at times. Those times when we made bad mistakes, and trying to come back on to correct them, we realized that was no longer anything.

Pages not written at times. Those moments when we wanted, but ..... It will stay white forever.

Then, as always happens, you fall asleep with the book open between the legs and hands placed on the last page, which is white.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
